{"id":747,"date":"2018-05-21T12:55:17","date_gmt":"2018-05-21T12:55:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.quriusolutions.com\/?p=747"},"modified":"2018-05-21T12:55:17","modified_gmt":"2018-05-21T12:55:17","slug":"metuh-collapses-in-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.quriusolutions.com\/?p=747","title":{"rendered":"Metuh collapses in court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former spokesman of the People\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh collapsed Monday morning at the resumed hearing in his trial before the Federal High Court, Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>Metuh, who is being tried for alleged money laundering offences, with his company, Destra Investment Limited, collapsed when he attempted to enter the dock when the case was called.<\/p>\n<p>Metuh was on his way to the dock after his case was called upon but suddenly fell on the floor with a loud thud. Justice Abang, who was informed of the development on inquiry, however, objected the withdrawal from the trial by Metuh\u2019s counsel, Emeka Etiaba, who had submitted that he could not go ahead with the case because his client was visibly ill and lying on the floor.
