Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has revealed how he was resisted when he advocated for lower wages – Murray-Bruce said he told other senators that if Nigerian legislators earn higher than European legislators then Nigerian workers should be paid higher than European workers.<\/span><\/p>\n

A senator representing Bayelsa East constituency, Ben Murray-Bruce, on Monday, March 12, said that he was resisted by his colleagues when he advocated for lower wages and allowances for public officials and a higher minimum wage for the Nigerian worker. <\/span><\/div>\n

Senator Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna central, had disclosed that a member of the Senate receives N13.5million monthly as running cost. <\/span><\/div>\n
